My 13-year-old son just finished the 7th grade, and I am looking to secure him summer math help and 8th grade math preparation. I am looking for someone who can meet with him at least twice a week, for 1-hour sessions. I would like to meet outside of our home at a public place, possibly UTSA library.

My son is 6 and a half years old and has recently become very interested in chess. He has never had formal chess lessons before, so we are looking for a beginner-friendly coach who can help him build a strong foundation while also making the learning process enjoyable. We live in East Cambridge, and our ZIP code is 02142. We would prefer in-person lessons, ideally once a week.

I played piano seriously growing up, competed frequently, and completed CM theory through around Level 8. I have taken a break and am getting back into it. My biggest weakness has always been sight-reading. I’m looking for occasional coaching sessions and would love advice on how to improve my sight-reading and what I can do to practice it effectively on my own.
